Gerard Crewdson cardboard cinema and the Terminal Moraines (Anthony Donaldson / Daniel Beban) Artist Gerard Crewdson’s cardboard cinema presentation, Fortification Road, is a psycho geographical journey down the highways and byways of old Wellington town.
Glitter Ears Sound artists Matt Whitwell, Samin Son, and Daniel Boobyer will take listeners on an examination of highly complex and twisted sonic structures. (Thanks to the Met Shop for the wind chimes)

Originally from the UK, Emit Snake-Beings is a multi-media visual artist and sound artist who works in kinetic art, sacred art, sculpture, tuned noise music, and underground film.

Candlesnuffer (David Brown, Melbourne) David Brown has been involved in the Melbourne experimental, art rock/punk rock scene since the mid-seventies. His projects include punk jazz band Bucketrider, improvising trio Peteras/Baxter/Brown, improv/sound art group Western Grey, psychedelic electronic duo Terminal Hz (with KK Null from Japan) and the electric free jazz group Embers. Brown has developed a vocabulary that runs the gamut from rock bassist through experimental guitarist to sound artist. His solo project, Candlesnuffer, melds electro-acoustic methods with noise music, often utilising tiny acoustic sounds which are massively amplified. Currently Brown is undertaking a PhD research project investigating the use and benefits of electronic music and field recordings within a hospital Emergency Department.

Memory Burn - Rory Dalley/Mike Minchington (Christchurch) Christchurch duplexicon of many free-time associations and witchuals observed. Burns holes in woven dependencies, free for all. all for none. Rugcore dialectics weave from library returns to nightwalker revelations. A tableau of auxiliary gains accumulating rust, hoarded from excoriated vocals, primordial percussives, jammed tapes, and room tone returns.
John Bell (Auckland)/Anthony Donaldson/Gerard Crewdson/Lucien Johnson John Bell’s vibraphone is a metallic whirlwind of notes and sounds, joined by three of Wellington’s precious stones on drums, brass and woodwinds.

ALTMUSIC PRESENTS ... C Spencer Yeh (USA) Born in Taiwan, C. Spencer Yeh is now based in Brooklyn NY. His chief modes of expression are amplified violin and voice. He is recognized for his musical project Burning Star Core and collaborates with artists such as Tony Conrad, Thurston Moore, Carlos Giffoni, John Wiese, Paul Flaherty, Chris Corsano, Smegma and Jandek. Yeh’s diverse sound practice encompasses blissed-out meditative droneworks, fire noise improvsations and Dadaist vocalisations. "Yeh did not sing in a strict sense, but he vocalized with every part of his neck and head that could produce sound...it clearly was unsettling to much of the audience...."- George Grella - "The Big City"

Sendam Orchestra Almost every Friday for the past four years SENDAM have met at The Clubhouse in Newtown to explore and play with percussion and drums. The music swings from attempted structures in compositions to random and spontaneous improvisations.

Cookie Brooklyn (tape release) Cookie took a step closer to Alice and made a date for Friday night, checkmating. Rudy was furious at losing to Margaret so easily and dumped the board on the rose-colored quilt, stomping downstairs.
Bad Pharmer A homage to the Slavic mythologic legend of Poludnica - the noon demon that slayed delirious farmers and field workers in the peak of the mid day heat. Bad Pharmer plays bison grass infused garage swamp with vigour.
